However, the slingshot was more comical and safe then the rockets.

There was alot of clouds, the odds of her landing in the clouds was higher then what you suggest.
This however was too much. Too much thrust, not a soft landing area, and the wagons where on fire.
This was way more dangerous then the sling shot.
Or back on the ground with high speed.
Yeah but then she could have just landed on another cloud.
If she missed her target or hadn´t enough boost to reach it she would have been lucky if she only got hurt.
Fortunately that didn´t happen.
The sling shot was aimed up in the clouds how ever. She had a safe target to land on. The rocket was way to powerful to clear the stunt.
Both are really bad ideas.
How is a rocket the same as a slingshot?

Do you see the enormous rocket strapped to the scooter… Besides Lightning is an adult she should have known better
