@genervt
He is not real for crying out loud! He’s fake, a costume, hello! The VeggieTales characters were only wanting to tell the ponies that friendship is not only magic, but is also one of the Ten Commandments. VeggieTales even had a song for friendship and a video with a lesson in Friendship.
@Evil Emperor Proteus
After some searching I was able to find The Return of Tambelon parts 1 through 4. He’s never referred to as a necromancer once in all four parts. Now I don’t have access to other G1 media, like books, so he might have been called one in those.
As for necromancy, yea it does need to involve the dead or spirits. It’s defined as raising the dead (spirit or corpse) to gain knowledge or power, or to use the raised dead person as a weapon.
@Dag1984
You don’t have to involve souls or the dead. Or at last, that’s how I remember it. And yes, he was stated to be a Necromancer. He is immortal and cannot be destroyed. In G1 they had to get rid of him(rather than kill him) by ringing a bell which would send him and his city of Tambelon back to it’s realm of banishment.
Okay, was Grogar actually called a necromancer or is that some kind of fanon thing? I remember him being a powerful mage but never doing anything with souls or the undead.
No. He didn’t try reforming them at all. He was using them to boost Twilight’s confidence.
Spoiler: But it’s Discord, who tries to reforms the remaining villains but failed badly.
That´s it.

No again.
Still no.
Which part of NO did you not understand?

I said no.
No.
……………..
Actually, he is the characters from VeggieTales! What do you think I am, stupid?
Or not.
Or Lord Tirek is actually the characters from VeggieTales.
Edited because: Spelling.

How do you know she wasn’t inspired by Darla Dimple?
