Yeah I’m still curious as to what she meant when she said she’d send the magic somewhere else. This season has now sparked two major questions for me.

Maybe she needs power to save her other world from destruction

I don’t think it even makes sense to compare her to Starlight. Starlight fought for what she thought was correct and, in the season finale, she was driven by the only desire to make Twilight’s life miserable, since she didn’t know she was destroying Equestria by doing this.
 
Cozy Glow knew what she was doing, was allied to a monster, planned to take over everything and flat out destroy Equestria by ending all magic in there and plus, she was able to act not out of anger or petty vengeance, but with meticulously constructed plan to fool everyone. She only lost because the Tree of Harmony doesn’t make sense, because it wasn’t supposed to have magic at that point.
 
Compared to every other villain in the show, Cozy Glow is far better as a villain.

She believe one day she become the Empress of friendship and order to do that she will sacrifice all the magic Equestria have by bringing it to another world.

I know. Sure, folks are against her being imprisoned, especially when comparing to Starlight’s actions in the Season finale, but what matters is that she flat-out refuses to change her ways despite the damage she caused.
 
This is a villain…

Damn, who the hell needs magical powers when you can take away the magic of Equestria by just being smart? Cozy Glow is the new best villain of the show.

I kinda hate it when folks are trapped in a cage/cell with bars so wide, it hardly qualifies as a means of entrapment, yet they’re still trapped
