Comic-page commission for yuppi12Rainbow Dash was walking along the beach when the sandy terrain gave way beneath her, revealing a once concealed tar pit. Her struggles were in vain and all her calls for help fell on deaf ears as the gripping tar sucked her under, rainbow hair and all.

And, y’know…liquid tar would probably be hot enough to give her serious burns even if someone did get her out fast enough. This doesn’t really portray that though…it treats the tar like quicksand.
……oh.
You do realize that swimming in a tar pit is like trying to swim in molasses, right? It’s not impossible but it is incredibly difficult and she has no room here. Getting below the surface at all means that even if she does manage to escape she’ll still probably suffocate without someone getting the tar off her face very quickly.
