In an Anthro MLP AU, Spike has taken on the monstrous, hulking form seen in Chapters 7 and 8 of ‘Rogue Diamond’ in order to save the life of Goldenrod (the genuinely good version of one of the comic’s antagonists, Nihashi that I conceived of). From what exactly is up to the viewer to decide, as is whether Spike does so out of love for her or the general goodness/nobility of his heart.
