If you’ve been keeping up with my stories so far, you’d know that Duckburg is part of Equestria.
 
Yeah, this is fanfic art, I just didn’t tag it as such until now.
 
As for Selene, this was adressed in a recent story…half of the Olympians fell victim to Thanos’ Infinity Gauntlet-powered fingersnap, so she’s too busy worrying about that to take care of the moon. Same reason why Cozy Glow (aka Mean Twilight Sparkle, aka Briar) was able to exchange letters with Tirek without Hades noticing.

Why didn’t Luna help Wallace and Gromit get back home during that one adventure?

That, and there’s a reason why Ducks and Ponies don’t interfere with each others’ business.
 
…Would be one hell of an epic crossover, though.

Because they’re kids. It’s not like she disappeared when they were 20 and came back when they’re 30. They’ve never really had a mother figure and that left a whole in their lives. Why else to you think Dewey was determined enough to walk on the wing of the Sunchaser as it precariously hung off the cliff side?

Why would they even want her back?
