I guess in this artist’s version, spike was like “oh no, a lot of dust!” and accidentally ripped the scroll in half. and they’re both looking at him, and he’s like “uh… whoops?”

whatever timeline this was, this picture’s kind of in poor taste, because destroying the map would’ve left twilight, starlight and spike stranded in the past.
