Guess again buddy. People liked the first Home Alone movie better so it’s shown more times than the second one.
 
Why? Three words. Old Man Marley. Roberts Blossom’s acting as Old Man Marley is one of the reason why I love watching the Home Alone movie. His acting at the end of the movie was pure genius. I got hit head on with feels the moment I saw that snow scene where he hugged his granddaughter spotted Kevin at the window, waved to him while hugging his granddaughter put her down and left with his family.
 
That ending scene from the first movie was pure genius.
 
Sadly the second Home Alone movie didn’t do as well as the first one and had lower scores than the first one.
 
The first Home Alone movie scored a 5.5 out of 10 which was average but the second movie after that scored even less. The second movie scored a 3.7 out of 10 which means that it was a box office bomb and it failed in movie theaters.
 
Sorry, but your comment about it being shown more times than the first one is not true.
