Most of That was really just in part 1…after that he kinda…just sat on his throne with his thumb up his ass, doing nothing.

And then the Main 6 defeated him and in his next appearance, he redeems and becomes a good guy (Even though he was popular becuz of All the villainous potential he had, but ok)

And his Credibility as a badass (and decent character) has been downhill ever since (at least in my opinion)

A good part of why I prefer Bill is that he had Plans for freaking everything, was consistently badass, was completely evil and showed it numerous times and even after his death, it’s implied he might not be completely gone.

TLDR:
Discord greatly disappointed me, while Bill Cipher Lived up to the hype.

But again, this is all my opinion.

I think Discord is more chaotic than just chocolate milk. He made reality his plaything, twisted the minds of everyone around him, and very nearly won the day. Bill is definitely more mind melting in his approach to chaos, but Discord isn’t exactly a one trick pony himself.

Personally, I like Discord more.

bill cipher was psychopathy, sadism, cruelty, despicable evil, lies (perhaps even the prince thereof), and betrayal, but he wasn’t really all that… chaotic. chaos is the unpredictability of a system, not how much it makes people scream. so yes please, know what chaos is.
 
though for the record I don’t like discord either.

You, my friend, is taking this way too seriously, and still, the world of MLP is a stronger world. Theories hold no water because it is mostly idiots on the internet like you and me saying stuff because that is what they want, not having a great deal of thought behind it. It is great that you love Bill and all that, but there is no true way of defining chaotic power from universes so different from one another. Also, if Bill is to be believed, that is an interesting thought, isn’t it?

Yeah, no. Bill is more cleaver, More deadly, has minions, And If He is too be believed, has destroyed universes! (Discord has done nothing close to that) And the only way to defeat him in the mortal realm was to banish him…which Stan messed up and they had to use plan B. And even when he was “killed”, They are multiple theories That he’s not dead and how he can easily come back.
 
Discord is…well, an idiot, Instead of making sure everything is going to plan, he just automatically believes he can’t be beat, Has used less deadly magic, the worse he can do is summing monsters (that Bill can easily dispatch) nearly sending a pony to a puppet universe (Which won’t work on Bill, since he can easily teleport back) and discording (Which wouldn’t work on Bill). Bill can counter anything discord throw at him. Discord also can be talk down from doing stuff (Was done by Fluttershy, Tirek, Starlight), and if he was so powerful he would have had a fighting chance against Tirek (Tirek didn’t even get that much powerful with Discords magic Either) and He wouldn’t have been effected by the Chrysalis throne and eventually captured.

Would that even work? To be honest, I find Bill to be the weaker of the two since he can be defeated in something similar to our mortal realm. I know there are certain things to this, but I won’t say them in case it spoils the show for some. Discord has so far only really been defeated by magical artifacts that work perfectly against him and by a being that got so much magic that he could drain that of Discord. Discord is from a stronger universe basically, and by what each of them is allowed to do fully depends on the show they exist in, and, to be honest, I didn’t find Bill’s stuff all that creative, but that is personal opinion. This was my way too serious and long answer to something stupid on the internet that needs no thought to it. Have a good day everyone.
