Nope. They would never do it. Hasbro would nix it, gay = less money.

The show has been getting gayer and gayer over the seasons. Plus, producers and staff members seem to have concluded that they can get away with a lot more when they’re already at the end of their show (like with Korra and Adventure Time), so maybe, just maybe, we’ll see a gay/lesbian couple finally get represented in an unquestionable manner (like a wedding or a kiss) in Season 9, assuming it’s really the end of it.
 
Besides, we’re getting episode 200 in Season 9, and considering what Episode 100 was, we might just get something like that again, and it could be the perfect opportunity for a Lyrabon wedding.

It is a musical and Autumn does say it is a guy and girl in this scene and the kirin reaching in from off screen is supposed to be a guy. Then again the guy in the mask (the one reaching in from off screen) is clearly a girl. It is a musical so the actors could just be playing roles.

i’m open too, i don’t have anything against that people, but wanting “trans” characters on everything just because….? they are trans? or why do you would like to be “X” being trans? like, that would make it a better character? or…? what could be the point if the show it’s not going to touch the theme never?
