Lamias have different values than we do. Their “was naughty” equivalent is a bag of turnips instead. That way they don’t get to partake in one of the big barbecues without putting in a lot of work, like using the turnips to feed and raise farm animals to produce meat, or needing to rely on the kindness of others for a meat handout, or forcing themselves to eat them since they’re high in protein :D
@Damaged
It’s sort of an unwritten rule that whoever got the turnips has to bring the BBQ sauce if they want a share of the meat from the others. Their whole morality centers around working together with a motto of “share the warmth share the wealth”: the good ones get presents that get them to work together with others to effectively use, while the bad ones have to rely on the generosity of others if they want a share :D

Yep, they’re obligate carnivores. It’s the reason why there’s not many of them in Equestria and why a lot of Equestrians are by default afraid of them. Since the animals of Equestria are sapient it’s much harder for them to eat because they have to either import meat from elsewhere or subsist off of fish, and a lot of Equestrians think they’re these voracious monsters that eat sapient things :D

Lamia Christmas is backwards. It’s the good ones who get either coal or a big burlap sack of meat, and then they pair up with friends and make big barbecues :D
You guys don’t even understand, Kali’s fire is going to be, like, so big. This fire is going to be crunk, kickin’, bodacious, tubular, as well as completely off-the-chain, yo.
She’d honestly rather have the coal XD
@Ereiam
Gotta love cultural differences. Their Christmas is closer to our Thanksgiving than it is our Christmas :D
As the description says, it doesn’t mean the same thing for lamias.

Hey, turnips fried in almond sauce are awesome =D .
If the nice ones get meat while the naughty ones get turnips, I have the feeling they are.
I’ve got a nice, big bottle of Tennessee Sweet-Fire right here =D .
@Badumsquish
Wait, are your lamias carnivores? I’d hate to throw some ribs on the grill and make something they can’t eat D= .
Who brings the bbq sauce?

A nice big fire pit out back :D
Well, what’s warmer than a raging house fire?
Rad quote, yo =D .
XD
Animal crossing.
To quote a let’s player: “Hip cool nineties extreme… auto-rocket has, pants that are tight, yo.”
“Stop yourself.”
So uh… anyone else get the reference?
Damn skippy, home-slice.
Bacon wrapped steaks and breaded porkchops for all the good lil’ snek ponies.
It will be the tightest of parties as well as a meaty feast to remember, yo.
And when her friends join in, the meat is gonna sizzle fo’ shizzle.
