VeggieTales is a family friendly Christian show that babies, kids, parents, grandparents, teachers and many more can enjoy and learn Bible lessons. The characters from VeggieTales are Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, Junior Asparagus and many others. They’re nice, friendly and have likable personalities just like the ponies.
 
Bob and Archibald are the serious ones.
 
Larry, The Gourds and The French Peas are comedic relief.
 
Junior Asparagus and Laura Carrot are there to learn stuff.
 
Madame Blueberry and Petunia are there to be female appeal.

True, but that doesn’t mean Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, Junior Asparagus and the other VeggieTales characters aren’t joining the cast of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. It means that it will be nice enough to place them in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I know that some people are not Christians, but they can still enjoy both VeggieTales and My Little Pony Friendship is Magic, whether their Christian or not.

I know it does. But just because two things have a lot of fans doesn’t mean they’d mesh well in an official crossover. Kirby and Daredevil are both popular franchises but it would be rather odd if Kirby just popped up randomly in the last season of Daredevil for no apparent reason.

I don’t think it would be a wise idea to put religion in a show that didn’t have any in it for close to 10 years. That sounds like it could be asking for trouble. Some of the people working on the show as well as some fans that enjoy watching it are probably not all Christians.

To me, placing the characters from VeggieTales in My Little Pony Friendship is Magic would be because of Lord Tirek’s true identity, in which he is the characters from VeggieTales. They want all ponies to learn about the Bible, God and the Ten Commandments.

I mean, I get that you’re a fan of the show. That’s obvious. But it makes little to no sense to just throw these characters in the show for no apparent reason. I like Pokemon and Transformers but I wouldn’t suggest throwing a bunch of Pokemon and Autobots in the opening because it wouldn’t make sense within the context of the show, even when Hasbro also owns one of those franchises.

Why I’m a VeggieTales fan known as BLJFan2000. I am a big fan of Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber and Junior Asparagus. I nicknamed them B.L.J cause that’s the first letters of their names.

My choice of Season 9 opening is the characters from VeggieTales joining the cast.

With all the characters the series has, I can picture that shot would be too crowded.

Possibly. Maybe they wanted to do some things with them in the CMC focused episodes but never really did in the long run.

The next opening should have every character from the show posing for a picture.

It always puzzled me why they bothered to but Snips and Snails in the opening credits. Was there plans to do anything with them that kept getting pushed back or something?

I never noticed some of these little details in the updated openings. I really like that they added in those little details.
