Not necessarily. He does mention he has a niece in one chapter, so if Flash Sentry is his descendant, it could’ve come from an indirect line through a sibling or something.

Well it’s pretty obvious that he’s meant to be Flash Sentry’s ancestor, so unless he goes back in time after the series and has kids, he’d have to have procreated at some point.
