A year ago, something like this would’ve taken me like 3 weeks to do.
But after HarmonyCon and a few light bulbs, I feel like I’m on a roll with artwork this past week. This was like, 1.3 nights. I’m shocked, and I actually mostly enjoyed drawing for once.

That’s fascinating. Drawing as a series of logic puzzles. Never really thought about it that way. But if it works for you, by all means!
I’ve always been a creative myself, but I’m such a harsh critic of my own work (written, drawn or otherwise) that it took me almost 20 years of creating to post something for the world to see. I’m getting better about it, though, and I’m trying to set aside drawing time at least once a month (I’m not home much) as a creative outlet.
I actually rarely enjoy drawing. I don’t draw because I enjoy it, not really. I do it for the audience.
Aside from that, art has been more of a stimulating puzzle for my brain to which I can dedicate any amount of time to doing, as a form of expression. I’m creative, but I’m not artistic; I’m actually a 75% or 80% left-brained logician. So I struggle tremendously to draw.
As such, most of the art that I do is actually stressful and frustrating. So my approach to art is that I’m not trying to create something, I’m trying to solve a problem.
I know that feel.
