He actually invited her to Equestria after they already went through Wonderland and the multiple continuities of the DCEU beforehand since Discord actually enjoyed this particular world. However it was here that he first began to witness Cosmos true colors in that she was not an entity of Chaos like he was: an amoral being that only wants to have fun that can be enjoyed or ignored by everyone else without serious harmful repercussions. Cosmos was a spirit of Malice who demanded for control and things to go her way regardless of whomever else there was, willing to both ruin and end lives without feeling remorse at all for her actions believing that everything exists only for her alone and that she will choose to always destroy them when she gets tired of them.

Is easy changing little things to make him more like pre-reformed Discord, a example is a discussion about “how isn´t funny the broken toys” and don´t rescue children directly, but as part of their tricks with long slides that send them away but without suffering much.

Ye—Yes it is Discord. Chaos doesn’t have to be Evil, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be Evil. Chaos is amoral.

Unless he summoned her into this world, he shoudn’t feel responsible for actions made by others, stronger creatures. But we don’t know the whole story, yet. If Cosmos turn out to be part of his doings then i may forgive that obvious misinterpretation of his character.

Discord was absolutely OK enjoying ponies getting strangled by deadly vines full of pointy thorns. Him saving ponies from the danger that he isn’t responsible and somehow taking responsibility for Cosmos actions is a thing he would never do pre reformation, and the image below is AFTER he was reformed  

I feel Discord considered chaos as a GOOD thing for everyone because it was absolute freedom. He wanted to be free of absolutely everything, including the laws of nature and the laws of physics. Hence why he hated rulers and why he was okay with stealing. Nothing should belong to anyone. Life and choice should be everyone’s
 
That’s what he went against Cosmos. He didn’t want death, destruction, and anarchy. He just wanted natural chaos. He wasn’t evil or heartless, he was just nuts.

Fair enough. Then again, the comics are basically an AU at this point. I’m just along for the ride. I enjoy continuity, but if an otherwise good story lacks it, I won’t complain as long as I’m sufficiently entertained.

Yeah, as you said, Discord didn’t kill ponies because he enjoyed tormenting them. He wanted to be their king and it would be boring to rule a bunch of dead ponies. However his depiciton in this comic makes him look like he has empathy and mercy and saves the innocents, which is a huge misinterpretation of his character. If he was just having harmless pranks and even saved ponies from time to time, then he would never deserve to be sentenced for possible eternity in stone prison (he only got out by himself) not to mention Fluttershy’s influence would be pointless as he already understood kindness and empathy. That Discord really doesn’t add up. Its okay to make him act like evil Hades from Hercules. Because that what he was- megalomaniac without empathy and regard for others, who just wasn’t interested in slaughter. He wasn’t some nice guy pushover who was misunderstood. Its a revision of his evil backstory which the show canon described as “cruel” “immortal cynical despot” and “terror”

Depends on how you see it. Discord loves to use his chaos magic to mess with ponies and have fun. If the ponies are dead, there’s no one to mess with. Cosmos doesn’t care if ponies die as long as she can keep spreading her brand of chaos.
 
That’s the fundamental issue here: Cosmos’s brand of chaos is incompatible with Discord’s. Discord plays games, twisted though they may be; Cosmos just plays until her toys break.

I don’t know about this. I don’t know, I just can’t see pre-reformation Discord acting this way? I doubt the old Discord would have saved ponies in any way.

Eh i dont like that white washing of Discords. His season 2 self would never save ponies in distress. Heck, in season 4 after reformation he enjoyed the sight of plunder vines tormenting ponies
