All three of you are on the “Ban them if they don’t stop [that thing they do]”, and for two of you that was specifically that you stop fighting on Nyx images. Rather than simply banning you as our processes and guidelines recommend, I’m hoping that if I ask you to stop, you’ll stop. Because for some of you, your next ban will be weeks or months long. You’re not succeeding in being edgy. Also, whether you will admit it or not, Starlight has gone through evolution as a character, you’re just too dense to realize that.

 
First of all “to fix a character” means “to change a character” which means destruction of it’s integrity if it was (not Himmler’s case but you can’t fix what doesn’t exist at all). Or total reload making totally new story.

The strangest thing for me that people can be perfectly agreed that mentally she’s at best at CMC’s level but at the same time insist that she had evolution.

Disney is a small nobody-knows-about company which can’t hire a good screen-writers and etc. And the whole Holliwood produces just a couple movies per year it’s not a place where you can find any professionals in film-making.

I don’t think that making mentally not sound Mery Sue “character” forcing it down viewers’ troats and them making attempts to prove that it’s not Mary Sue with making it lose tothe new Mary Sues and been sarcatic humilating everybody around after not understanding the very basic things and ignoring obvious incapacity will make it better.
 
That’s one of the very basic things Himmler’s fan don’t understand. A character can’t be fixed.

Again. The character if it really a character must have non-contradictional bihevioral pattern.  
Take Nyx again she has 2 patterns curiosity as direct result of her origins and living with Twilight and empathy. And her heroic deed in final is in line with her helping running to the friends for school play despite Twilight’s prohibition. Nobody would act as a hero after acting as a bitch or a jerk for the whole life.
 
Himmler in any episode where she appears act different. And that’s the reason there’s no any fanart with her doing something. All pictures of her are just pictures of her. Nothing like Twilight doing something with books and etc.
 
At first she’s a villian. Then she’s mentally not sound. Then she doesn’t understand the very basic things. Then she’s suddenly normal. And every change happens without explanation. Nobody asks her to be a hero or etc. In fact M6 are not heroes at all except Twilight who can kick asses but does that in very few episodes. Even Nyx is not a hero for 99.9% time of her endless life. But they’re interesting. Because they’re characters not “guidance counselors” or other things people have no idea what it means. Seriously I understand what’s Twilight or Flattershy but for “guidance counselor” I would have to read job description. It’s no more character than “a worker”.
 
As one guy suggested simple situation “a pony comes to a bar”. What (s)he can talk about? There’re few fics with exactly that plot with long chapters for every of M6 but what you can write about Himmler?? Nothing!
 
Magical power is not a personality. Twilight could be the very same character in a world without any magic. F. e. steampunk Equestria where Twilight wears gogles and construct steam robots. She could be a programmer or inventor in our world. Magical power in case of Himmler is the way to substantiate her “importance”. This’s cheap and ridiculuos trick but this’s only a deriative of basic problems.
 

 
Himmler has FOUR 20 minutes episodes in Season 5. Then she had a lot of episodes in S6. The was no development. But it took only 1 episode to introduce Twilight and 5 other main characters in the beginnig of the show. I don’t think that a character which demonstrated no development in literally hours of screen-time will have any development even in 1000 seasons. If you have’t noticed MLP-format doesn’t suppose any character-development at all.
