Finally I got started on this project. A Derpibooru exclusive~!
 
Because I don’t have tons of time or energy, but I do have excess creativity leaking outta my ears, I can only really sort sketch-style art with minimal colouring and FX. That being said, I’m gonna forge ahead anyway, because a good comic is founded on a story, and hopefully it’ll be one that grabs ya.
 
This story takes place in an alternate history Equestria, which I shall refer to as ‘Dark Equestria’. If that’s an issue or is in use enough to clash with something, pop me a message and we’ll see that changed sooner than later!
 
The timeline difference here, is the very predictable Nightmare Victory timeline, in which Nightmare Moon’s return was not prevented by the Mane Six - instead they were slain, along with the Solar Princess and all those who would take up arms against the new order.
 
There’s a little more to the why of it, but you’ll discover that in the story as it’s revealed.
 
Argent Arms, the main protagonist of this comic, and for whom it is named, serves under Nightmare Moon as her First Officer and Commander of a standing force of Unicorns, alongside other Officers in control of their own respective divisions.
 
Why? ‘cus there’s a war on.
 
Luckily for her, she’s very good at war. You kind of have to be, to keep a position appointed by the Nightmare herself.
 
Follow Argent Arms as she witnesses the coming of the Nightmare, the coming of a greater Foe, and the conflict that ensues.
 
There will be blood spilled and lives lost, and the comic may touch on some heavy themes at times. I’ll be tagging appropriately as best as I can.
