well that doesn’t change what she did to anyone: nearly turning the young 6 against each other, sending and receiving letters from a pure criminal, stealing magic from certain races and artifacts, putting someone of high authority in chains for standing in her way of taking over the school, and nearly throwing the magic off balance(in which the tree of harmony had to intervene), all this because of jealousy towards twilight sparkle, plus getting the wrong idea on friendship by using it for her own selfish needs.

Plus he did care enough to give her an explanation on Grogar’s backstory.

I get the feeling that the pen pals thing was done without him fully realizing that he was talking to a child. Which I suppose is a credit to her intelligence, but he was probably unenthused when his evil comrade turned out to be some tiny cute pink thing with frilly curls.

They were pen pals for who knows how long. Cozy is apparently his protege, and used his knowledge of draining magic in her own methods.

I liked how this episode showed Cozy Glow had a sort of bond with Tirek (even if it was rather one-sided).

Ahhhh… I remember those days… God, if there’s one thing I’m really hoping for when Generation 5 hits, it’s the huge influx of old and new fans. If everything works out, we’ll have an entirely new generation of fan works everywhere you look!
 
And yes, these two do deserve their own spin-off. Not just them, you could bring Sombra, Chrisy, and maybe Grogar in too! Could be like a slice of life of sorts, where they try to gain enough power to rule Equestria… but in the meantime they have to work odd-jobs and sneak around to avoid suspicion from any princesses, while also growing closer together as they travel the lands in search of any way to fulfill their plans! God, why can’t we have nice things like this?!

I want an entire show dedicated to these two; they are so fucking cute together. Man, I wish this was still 2012, back then you would have had at least half a dozen “askTirekandCozy” Tumblr blogs by now.
