I think the fact that people complain about this is bullshit tbh..

I mean come on, it was implied and later confirmed that unicorn magic (like firebending) works on emotion. The stronger their emotion is, the stronger the magic. And Starlight is full of rage and determination. So really this shouldn’t be an issue

That’s what happens when you want a beam struggle against the alicorn who went toe to toe with Tirek after he’d eaten a nation worth of magic, even if she was buffed by 3 more alicorns at the time. You need to make a character with stupid amounts of power. It’s basically the Cell arc all over again. No one knows why androids created on earth were so damned powerful, they just are because they need to kill Goku.
