The jewel colors on Celestia’s Crown and Regalia matches Twilight’s natural purple colors, therefore Twilight was designed to become the next Princess and Hasbro had planned to color the jewels on Princess Celestia’s Crown and Regalia an purple color for this purpose from the beginning of the show so Twilight could wear Princess Celestia’s Crown and Regalia after Celestia steps down from the throne and passes it over to Twilight and the purple jewels on them will make it look like it matches Twilight’s natural purple colors perfectly.
