I always wanted to see Rainbow Dash get a boyfriend just to shatter years of preconceptions about her character.

Gotta love how most people would be glad RD rejects Zephyr so much, only because it means their waifu is still single and still have a possible spot for them, all of this without realizing they’re more similar to Zephyr than what they’d like to admit.
 
And we all know what RD thinks of Zephyr-type people.

So, Zephyr is half the fandom?

Two wholly unrelated things I took away from this episode:
 
One, Zephyr Breeze is the embodiment of creepy, sleazy, entitled douchebags who think that women should be lining up for the privilege of dating them, cannot catch on the fact that their nonexistent love lives are due to them being fundamentally unpleasant, boring failures and then go on 4chan or subreddits to whine about being friendzoned and about all women being ice queen and frigid bitches who only want bad boys and never date “nice guys” like, supposedly, them.
 
Two, the animation has gotten good. This episode had astounding lighting and angled shots.
