The doll merch was created long before the actual animated series, and typically they use designs that are prototypes relative to the animated series. For example, Sonata’s design originally had those pink shades and some other design elements, but they were removed/changed when it came to finalize her design for the series. This happens with a lot of the characters. Adagio’s “Welcome to the show” attire was almost completely different.
