@Terminal Red
Well said. Rings true for Starlight Glimmer also. Looking back on the two character arcs, one could call it a lazy retread when writing Glimmer’s arc. But with her, they expanded on it to give it more developement which is good.
@Background Pony #C310
I advise you take your drama somewhere else. This is supposed to be a place where individuals of a common interest share their thoughts, and your clearly beyond outnumbered.
I love Trixie. She has the least to answer for out of any of these characters. But she was still weak. When she came to her senses, realized what she had done, she started on the road to gaining humilty and thus a measure of strength.
When she chose to sacrifice herself for the good of the mission in the season 6 finale, thus putting the greater good before herself and her ego, she proved she’d overcome her weaknes, become a strong person and found her redemption.
@AC97
Trixie was bitter, and driven by wounded ego and misplaced anger
and chose to feed and dwell on those feelings.
These feelings could have been over come with maturity, self awareness, humility and willpower.
Had she chosen to use her rockfarm money to fund her next act, buy a new wagon and worked on improving her attitude and act, she would have been much happier.
But she was weak and let herself be driven by her baser nature rather than rise above it and as a consequence, chose to avenge herself on someone who not only never mistreated her but actually saved her her.
She kind of was villainous, because she decided that she wanted revenge on Twilight, who had done nothing to her in her first appearance, and put on the Alicorn Amulet in the first place to do so.
Not to mention her “apology” being of questionable sincerity at the end of that episode. Am I saying she wasn’t corrupted, or that she never came to regret it? No, but she didn’t grab that artifact because she was being a nice pony.

Says the one who had nothing better to do than come all the way here to post that useless comment.

Or an all mare thing. They are missing Stygian, afterall.
:D
Very true :)
I’m guessing you’re being sarcastic. If not, then this is really weak bait.
Yep. Also if Discord is so “weak” then how come he was able to neutralize Sombra’s magic without breaking a sweat?
That gives a thought if Discord were in this: you’d be utterly crazy to call him “weak.”
Flawed is a better word. In which we can relate.
Pft don’t let an stupid comment ruin it, then you don’t see all the cool ones! :D
I failed that a couple times… Several… A lot- I’m working on it xD
That should be Internet 101

Who knows, I still like though.
Or an all-pony thing.
