The Prodigy Unicorn
To be fair, cockroach is pretty easy to kill. Just get something like sandal and slap them really hard and if they still moving do it again. Since there a lot of case of cockroaches getting into my house, I pretty much done this and 100% of times they died.

Also the thing about cockroaches surviving the nuclear war? Well they can endure radiation far higher than human could. They still can’t survive the initial blast, plus they can reproducing very rapidly and can live pretty much anywhere.

And here’s some interesting scenario that I can think of. If X city, get infested with a lot cockroaches to the point that the city can’t function and the government decided to evacuated the population some where and nuke the city out, well most of the cockroaches dies with their body turned into ashes. However, since they can leave everywhere like in the sewer for example. Some of them will survive since they are protected from the initial blast. And since they reproducing rapidly even if only 1% of them survive. The cockroach population will be restored in the matter of months. So yeah it’s easy to kill them individually, but to make them go extinct, it’s almost impossible
