Personality-wise she is kind of like Torch in that she is quick to anger, but with less self-control and almost no moral objections against excessive retaliatory violence.  
Torch is a gentler dragon with a stronger sense of justice and duty. He’s also more open-minded than Sconce is.  
Sconce’s sense of duty was restricted to making sure Torch would be strong enough to make it through his childhood, although her methods could have fooled anyone into thinking otherwise.
 
On average, 3000-ish. But they can unlock thousands of years more with the right lifestyle choices… and if they don’t get killed.

So personality-wise Sconce is like Torch with less self-control? That sounds scary.
 
And this will be a little OT but how long do dragons live in your canon? I remember you saying that Caldera is in her mid-800s; and Torch is over a millennium old.

Sconce has a large chest like her son, or rather the other way around. Torch takes after her in many ways, including her quickly flaring, searing hot temper. Unlike her, he puts a damper himself. Knowing how he acts, that says something.

Oh, and I like that breastbone on Sconce. It looks very appropriate for a flier, they’d need something like that to provide a strong ‘base’ for the wing muscles and bones.

If I said something to offend, my apologies, but I got the idea Sconce doesn’t lightly take criticism of her parenting skills from anyone.

I learned a new word today

I can imagine Sconce being about to snarl something like, “Hands off me, you wrinkled old harridan!” I mean, she looks so delighted with this.
