Yeah, that’s what’s been bugging me. I’m used to the thought of animals digging through garbage – my grandma’s had trouble with dogs and we used to have raccoons and a trio of wild turkeys that gave us no end of trouble on that front – but seeing something just grab mouthfuls of plastic garbage bags and chowing down is… unsettling.
With us it’s raccoons, opossums, cats, and the occasional rodent that goes after the garbage. Sprinkling pepper and using mint scented bags does deter some of them. But I think Frustration in Excelsis is talking about the animal eating the bag itself, not what’s inside of the bags.
I know that around my street, occasionally we get stray dogs and horses eating the garbage we leave for the garbage collectors.
Ewwww!
“It looks like Gamera, but due to international copyright laws, it’s not.”
“STILL! WE SHOULD ACT LIKE IT IS GAMERA!”
“Though it isn’t.” [Winks at camera]
I think so.

This turtle, Torterra, and the turtle spirits in Avatar: The Last Airbender (and its sequel series The Legend of Korra) are all based on the World Turtle from ancient Chinese mythology.
