Pretty much this.Discovery family are not legally requires to be the first one to playing episode especially after hasbro ended their partnership with Discovery with the hub and Discovery family just became the place it just happened that later on

Here’s the reason why they should care and why this should’ve changed years ago, investors. People like to comment saying that it’s a kids show or Hasbro doesn’t care. Yes they fucking do, it’s an American toy company that has it’s products distributed internationally!
 
Every single decision they make is to increase the profits of their toys and board games. Are you people fucking serious?!
 
Yeah it’s obvious that all multimedia is secondary in their mind, but if you’re trying to cart around a new show for one of your other franchises to another broadcast network you really don’t want these other networks seeing that you’re most valuable intellectual property has had such an inconsistent release schedule over the last 6 years.
 
Discovery America (Time Warner) never throws a fit about what the other countries do because they don’t care about ratings on the family focused channel. In fact they probably don’t care about ratings on half of their channels their big business is primarily in telecom & Hollywood.

The bad thing about it is that people posts spoilers about the episode (screenshots, spoiling highlights) and the person who wants to watch the episode without being spoiled by some random person will eventually get spoiled because the spoilers will start popping up everywhere.
 
Also, there are people like me who likes to support the official releases and wait until the episode comes out according to the official US release.

If Discovery Family had a clause that they get to air it first then this wouldn’t happen.
 
Conclusion: No such clause exists. Therefore you’re all whining about what people who legally bought the rights to air it are doing with the show they PAID to air.
 
That is stupid. Get over it.
 
And further more, this show is cancelled. The ONLY reason leaks would matter now is if the show had a chance to get a 10th season, it doesn’t. G4 IS OVER.
 
Complaining about leaks is pointless.

Seriously, why does everybody on the internet talk about early leaked episodes like they’re a bad thing!? What’s bad about getting to watch the episodes sooner than we would’ve? We get to see them instantly instead of having to wait months! What’s bad about that!? That’s brilliant!
