Yeah those were some silly times.
 
I recall the drama over the first film which while was best written off as a copy of the first two episodes. It’s mostly because we went from something fun to a joke that copied high school tropes. These kinds of shows just paint a false image of high school causing people to get hyped to get to only to be clobbered.
 
These days I don’t think it deserved the drama save for the first film and I wish it could have had better support.

Back in 2013 I posted this on Reddit, but I was a little too late on the Hasbro hate bandwagon so I got downvoted to hell. I deleted the post and forgot about it.  
That was until today, when I stumbled upon this on my hard drive… so yeah.
