I like.

I would watch the hell out of this if this was real.

I don’t know why, but this image brought to my mind a Hello Internet-styled podcast featuring this two, with Starlight as Brady and Sunset as Gray.
 
And I really want that now. Not necessarily an outright HI parody, but an hour-and-a-half podcast of these two chatting about being a teacher and an undergrad student; about the politics, the changes, the happenstances in their worlds; arguing about electronics vs magic, or something; or just about mundane stuff like what they and their friends have been up to. Maybe even bring them on the podcast at some point for a special episode, maybe a TechDif kinda game show just for fun. And on that vein, have some fictional sponsors for the show to make both Equestrias sound like a much larger place with an actual economy and stuff.
 
It wouldn’t even need to be animated – it’s like a read-out fanfiction, but a conversation. You’d only need scriptwriters, someone to keep the story world consistent, audio editors, and a couple of decent voice impersonators. Doesn’t seem to be too hard – I’ve not checked, but I’m 100% certain an MLP podcast of this sort has been made before. Wonder if anyone’s up for this kinda task?

Try telling the Starlight haters that. The usual complaint I see about it is, “Starlight stole Sunset’s glory/spotlight.”
 
I hate the “Sunset VS Starlight” drama honestly. So it’s nice to see pics like this, where they’re friends like in canon.

But nothing can beat the classic:  

Now we just need a relaxing & heartwarming 1980s Jazzy Fusion themesong, and we got the perfect sitcom!

I know many hated that crossover EqGirls episode with them both, but I think both characters actually worked very well together.

Add in Trixie and I would watch the hell out of this show!
