That could actually be work for a compromise.
But to answer op question, no, maybe one or two actual pro twilicorn will be sad and claim that this is the anti-twilicorn fault and that this pandering is unnaceptable but in large, since it would get back to an already know success formula, I doubt people will trow the show ruining argument.
