Allegrezza is an Italian word for “happiness” It’s curious how they gave her an Italian word as last name.
 
The story was written several years ago (2012, I want to say?) so her backstory hadn’t really been fleshed out much at all. Someone thought “hey, she could have an Italian parent, she should have a suitably fancy-sounding last name”.

While Stafford does sound like a great surname, it’s hard getting “Allegrezza” head-canon out of my head (her surname in that story was “Philharmonica”)
