Description

Someone in the last pic thought Luna’s dress would look way better in black. I decided to do a quick and dirty edit of >>245914 to see for myself. What do you guys think?

Heh. I poke around and find that people have already took a shot at their own palette swaps.

I can’t say that I completely agree that your color palette is as unified as my own shot at this: >>247066 The dress colors still feel very different from Luna and probably isn’t complementing her colors that well.

I think your grays are too neutral. While they aren’t clashingly warm or saturated as the original, my own coloring attempt changed the red-violet to something much cooler in color temperature. I also turned the color scheme to be something more of an analogous sort (blues, indigo’s, violets).

There is also the issue of the gold attracting more attention to themselves (even worse as Luna’s colors are all dark), My color edit changed them to be silver, something much more neutral and doesn’t attract too much attention to themselves.

But, there’s probably more to this black and gold color palette that I’m overlooking, but who knows. I guess I just approached this differently.
