We saw what the plot for the finale before we saw the character And we found out she was evil in the same season she was introduced.
Her veneer was universally agreed to be paper thin and her evil was all too obvious to everyone. Hell, they even left clues in the show. There haven’t been any clues for Potion Nova meanwhile. If Potion Nova was really evil, the show staff would give us all a wink right from the get-go and we’d all catch it

Yet you just fawn to characters like Sunset and Starlight, who were originally villains, but suddenly Potion Nova appears, who has done nothing evil at all, you just treat her like she’s irredeemable.

Yet it was only 1 season so far. Do remember that Pony Life was announced for a 2nd season recently a few months ago.
And by the 2nd season, oh baby……, just wait and see. If i’m right, i will whoop and cheer for being right all along. If not, y’all can mock me all you want if it didn’t happen for her, but i’m just gonna shrug it off. Much like how my whole Cozy Glow is Chrysalis in disguise theory never happened at the end of Season 8. :P
