@HighRollerHydra
Yeah, but if you look at the announcement on Nintendo Direct, it doesn’t have the “Virtual Console” logo, nor mention they’ll be “VC” games, just “Eshop games.”
They also apparently fixed the “game link” multiplayer problem, and got it working for them too, unlike the Gameboy VC games, as well. So apparently, their emulation will be different from the VC GB games.
Looking back at my old comment, I’m glad I was wrong, as now the DKC trilogy, DKL trilogy, AND DK64 Rare games are all on Virtual Console now.
Still, the 3DS Virtual Console has been kinda… Dead lately… (And we still don’t have some games they have in Japan, like “Bubble Bobble,” which I’ve waited YEARS for.)
Which is making me speculate that the upcoming NX is going to replace the 3DS.

Apple cupcakes zap apple jam grapes Cherries oranges and cider with that aw yeah (then begins the title screen I just wanted to join in the song)
Finally, He’s here for you
It’s the last member of the Apple Crew
This Apple’s so strong, it isn’t funny
Can make a changeling, cry out for mummy
Can pick up a MMMM, with relative ease
Makes bucking apples seem such a breeze
He may move slow. He can’t jump high.
But this Apple’s…
ONE HELL OF A GUY!
@Advance
He has some style, He has some grace
This Apple, has a handsome face
He can hoofstand, when he needs to
and stretch his hooves out, JUST FOR YOU!
He can throw pies, just like a buffoon
This sweet Apple, just digs this tune.
AJ, Applejack!
Come on
AJ, Applejack is here!
She’s back again, and about time to
and this time, she’s in the mood
She can run real fast and she can grapple
With her kung fu skills, she’s one tough Apple
She’ll make you smile, when she plays her tune
But changelings, beware! CAUSE SHE’S AFTER YOU!

Actually, they took the DK Country trilogy off Virtual Console for some reason. (I hope they aren’t having legal issues with Rare, or Microsoft…) SNES “Sim City” was removed to.
Also, I think there were other problems DK64 had that kept it from getting a VC release. Like the inclusion of the original arcade “Donkey Kong” game. That might’ve made Nintendo reluctant to release it, afraid it would upset those who already purchased the NES version via VC. They also had “JetPac” which is Rare game included to. (Which might also lead to legal issues.)
Also, apparently Nintendo has a policy of only releasing one version of each of their games on VC.
(This is why we don’t have games like the arcade versions of DK, DK Jr., Mario Bros., or the SNES versions of Wario’s Woods, Yoshi’s Cookie, Tetris+Dr.Mario, or Mario All-Stars on VC.)
Doesn’t seem to stop Capcom from having several different versions of “Street Fighter 2” on VC though.
I love Nintendo, but they really half-ass the VC service lately…
They didn’t even offer multiplayer for 3DS Virtual Console games… (Which wouldn’t of been that hard to recreate. Some nerds actually did that.)
Perhaps too many. “Banjo Tooie” tried to make it less afterward.
Don’t think it really matters…I’m getting Yellow, that’ll be the first Gen I title where I beat the Champion without a legendary.

Ahem.
Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow will be released on the 3DS eShop.
So it’s not dead.

…there’s nothing suggestive in the picture.
Rainbow is Funky
Pinkie is Candy
Twilight is Snide
and of course, Granny is Cranky.

My N64 analogue still works. Just saying.

It’d still be better to play it on a console with an analog stick that DOESNT SUCK.
Screwball-in-a-Box.
