I don’t watch it for the humor, though the few good jokes are nice. honestly, for me it’s practically a soap opera.

Except the humor isn’t really all that subtle, it just seems like it because it’s just trying to creep up on you.
 
Seriously, subtle humor is where you ddon’t realize there even WAS a joke until you think about a scene that confused you. Every joke that’s not a background event (like the Littlest Pet Shop cameos) is right up there in plain sight, and they’re less funny and more twisted.

I guess I like FiWitch for the opposite of the reasons that you dislike it: it’s got a lot of slow, subtle detail, and I’m not really one for meta humor and inside jokes. They don’t age well.
 
Also, I like the whole overarching creepy mythos: that Twilight has essentially turned everyone she knows into sociopaths via magical brainwashing. As evidenced by her stealing of Francis Sparkle’s ability to feel emotion.

I get what FiW tries to do. They twist the series into a bizarre perspective in order to produce humor (akin to None Piece). The problem is that it lacks the fast pacing that makes this type of humor funny. One “joke” will drag for too long and the result of this is more awkward than humorous.
 
I personally prefer Camaraderie is Supernatural, mostly because I like the meta humor and the inside jokes.

I think thats actually less the quality of FiW and the Sturgeons Law prevading most abridged series. About the only two consistantly good ones are the original (YGO:TAS) and Team Four Star.

I want to see them take 2 or 3 episodes and mix/mash them into a single one with a completely original story.  
Also, songs with original animations. Lots of them.
 
In a way, the last one was exacly that.  
I’m looking forward for future episodes.

I’ve only watched Foaly Matripony, and found it overall average. Generally poor, but with some AMAZING moments. (I will destroy you and steal your fiance, booty booty booty booty rocking everywhere. And that song that will never leave my head.)

Exactly the reason I watched one episode of this “critically acclaimed” Abridged Series and shut it off halfway in disgust. Because while having some sociopathic characters being played for laughs works, when your cast is composed entirely of completely amoral assholes and utterly undignified butt monkeys, I see no reason to continue watching.
 
Friendship is Witchcraft goes way farther then any other abridged series I’ve seen in making characters assholes, and is entirely unfunny as a result of going too far with it.
