Well in this generation there are no stallions and even though we see Whimsy later in 3.5 and get the explination of where ponies come from, the attraction may be due to the lack of other female dragons in his case and him definatly not being attracted to his grand/mother and never meeting Whimsy. Hope that made sense.

I don’t know why, but the notion that G3 Spike was a dirty old man seems to explain a lot about G4 Spike.

He self-identified as a baby dragon, but he was very protective of Baby Cuddles in the End of Flutter Valley, and Baby ponies in general.

Huh. Sexual attraction to ponies seems to have some kind of genetic factor, based on it’s prevalence in the Spike family. Did G1 Spike ever hit on the ponies?
