I’ve seen one expert comment that he wishes it had been called “attention regulation deficit” disorder.
Pipp, Pipp, she’s a sheep, pipppipp she’s a sheep.
Magic was glitching out again remember? Discord stole the pegasi’s flight.
As someone with ADHD, I can agree that it’s difficult to understand how your brain works. And even among other people with ADHD wiring, the effects can manifest in different ways. But I think probably the biggest misnomer stems from the actual terminology of the condition itself. ‘Attention deficit’ is not really accurate in my opinion. I can innately pay very close, undivided attention to things and can exhibit excellent concentration. I can even pay close attention to multiple things at the same time; multitasking. Where my brain struggles is knowing when to stop paying attention to things. It’s led to me having issues especially in falling asleep at night because I just want to keep thinking about stuff.
