The Pillar men are The Dazzlings not the princesses. Princess Luna is Stroheim, Cadence is Lisa Lisa and Celestia… IDK.

Alicorns fit better as Pillar Men in my opinion. They’re human/pony-like, but have abilities far outstripping the average mortal. Plus four Pillar Men and 4 alicorns works out.
 
And good on the artist for making Cadence Wham, given that Wham is the youngest out of them (next to Santana).

I agree with RIG here. The Pillar Men were regarded as an entirely different race than humans. So, if they were Diamond Dogs, it’d make much more sense.
 
Or, whatever the hell Auihzotl is. He’d make a good Pillar Person.
