Okay, the narcolepsy I can understand and is a very reasonable assumption—she stays up late to do her DJing work which affects her sleep schedule and the high-intensity activity of her job makes it easier for her to fall asleep in relaxing conditions…
 
…but wouldn’t being blind make it almost impossible for her to maintain her job, let alone manage to make it a day on her own in public?

I didn’t see her fall down uncontrollably, she’s not narcoleptic! And how would you hide narcolepsy with glasses?

I actually wrote a headcanon to one of these tumblr things that accepts them that went something like this. I wrote something about Vinyl Scratch’s eye-colour being red is because they’re bloodshot and malfunctioning, and she wears those giant glasses to help ease the stress of her eyes. To compensate, her hearing is perfect, which is why she’s as great a DJ/Producer/Whatever as she is known for.
 
Of course this is just headcanon and complete bollocks so eh.
