I’m going to post this on all future pictures tagged “immortality blues”, because I think that before you cry about how “bad” immortality is, you should at least try and comprehend the reality (for lack of a better word) of it.

And they wouldn’t make a main character die in what’s supposed to be a show for little girls, would they?

I’m surprised I haven’t seen a ponified version of Highlander in fafic form yet; you can easily substitute the immortals with alicorns. Celestia would totally fit into Sean Connery’s character Cadence could be that friend we briefly see before the kraken killed him off. Speaking of which, I’m not sure who should be the kraken and who should be the immortal that died at the start off the movie; Luna/NMM is the only other alicorn we’ve seen, so I suppose we’d hafta pretend Chrysalis is one too…
