It seems pretty obvious when you examine some of the other scenes.
-Pinkie Pie’s dance being frowned upon
-Celestia being uncomfortable when Rarity kisses her feet
-Prince Blueblood (Obviously)
-Luna’s behavior in “Luna Eclipsed”
-Celestia being uncomfortable when the Cakes serve her excessive amounts of tea (And pranking them to lighten the situation)
-Her specifically stating in the “The Best Night Ever” that she invited the Elements of Harmony specifically because they’d liven up the Gala (And then inviting Discord the following year with the same intent)
-The less-than-elegant way she eats cake when she thinks nobody is looking (And the rather specific wording of the headline)
-The way the Canterlot ponies were ready to socially crucify Rarity for having “commoner” friends (Until Fancy-Pants stepped in)
-The way the Canterlot ponies in “Sweet and Elite” only wanted to be around Rarity because it would boost their own popularity (Pretty much the entirety of that episode was vilifying the Canterlot elite)
To be honest there are too many examples for me to list.
