Still more believable than Godzilla: Unleashed.
True. I just think it’s really odd to see dragons fighting like humans in a video game.
Well you could also rip out the nails of the dragon, as well as the scales of the other dragon. Not to mention how you’d basically be wide-open to have that dragon scorch you as soon as your fingers get locked under the scales.
I suppose so, but hook some of those claws under the scales, and you could easily rip them out, exposing the tender flesh beneath.
“They were basically meant to crack hard armor”
Like lobster hammer! X3
Well maybe “common sight” might be a bit wrong to call it, since they were also more commonly used. They were basically meant to crack hard armor so that a sword could strike at vitals, or stab slowly into a battered opponent.
But otherwise, you’re just ‘dulling your blade’ on that armor.
Exactly. Why else would flanged maces and war hammers have become so popular after plate armor became a common sight?
Thick scales greatly reduce the usefulness of sharp objects like swords or claws. Best to just but all the force you can into a knockout blow.
“And now what’s Spike going for?”
“BAH GOD, SPIKE JUST DID SWEET CHIN MUSIC!!!”
I’ll bet Garb is gonna feel that in morning!
“GIMME BACK MAH WIMMINZ” seems more appropriate.
