There already IS a Trans OC of sorts, in the form of Glitter Shell. In all honesty though? Why NOT take a canon character and make an AU version? Its through provoking and puts the characters’ core personality through the trials and tribulations of self exploration.
Or you could just make a trans OC and NOT fuck over Rainbow Dash like this.

My “point of view”, as you put it, is that you take things too seriously.
No point in caring about projections from either yourself (“I don’t know anything about the author”) or the artist (which “probably” exist). Gonna play videogames instead.
Its not hatred against the author per se. Just hatred against this mind set. I don’t know anything about the author hence my use of the word “probably”.
