I would have to say looks like when you beat the game of super mario bros 2 you get this screen after the credits are done showing mario sleeping in bed

Why do people always hate-on the ending of SMB2? (Besides, considering the game takes place in “Sub-Con” the land of dreams, it’s debatable if it was “all a dream,” or not.)  
It was THE first game I ever beat as a kid, so it was a huge thrill for me when I first saw it.  
If you ask me, a screen-filling animated cartoon Mario was a pretty technically/graphically impressive feet on the 8-bit NES. (Remember this is before games had FMV in them.)  
Besides, it’s at least better then alot of other old NES game endings at the time.  
Like SMB1 where all you get is Peach thanking you, or the ones where all you get is just ending credits against a black screen, or “THE END,” and that’s it.

The “all just a dream” ending has always pissed me off immensely and feels like a cop-out.
 
Maybe it can be done well, but until I see an example of that, I’m putting it deep in the category of “bad writing.”

I think an episode like that would piss a large portion of people off immensely.

I want this to happen in season 3.  
The mane 6 goes on another adventure to stop another villain (or an older villain hint hint)  
Then Twi wakes up to find out it was ALL a dream!

…took me nearly a year to complete that LP. Though, admittedly, it was because of my own dang apathy that mainly got in the way.
