Actually, this photo was taken during the Cuba Missile Crises, one year before JFK’s death.
An intentional “oops”, more like it. And yeah, it really did make it into the official video- there’s a webm of someone playing it right off the White House site before the whole thing was taken off and redone with the unedited bit.
Yes, I’m betting it was intentional. I tried a ton of different search queries, and I can’t get this image to come up. Only the unedited version is coming up on Google and lolBing.
That is, unless they found the image when it was still on Deviant Art. In which case they must’ve had it saved for a while, yet they didn’t notice a freakin’ cartoon dragon right smack in the middle of it. Seriously, how could nobody have seen Spike before they threw it up on Youtube?
It be just like those Disney crossover videos with Titanic on YouTube.
The next week, the President made his fateful trip to Dallas, where fate and a white unicorn of style would lead to one of the great mysteries of history.
“If you can thread a needle, darling- you can most assuredly thread a bullet.”
It makes a good story when you look at the other Kennedy images showing Applebloom and AppleJack.
To understand the storyline, you have to watch Kennedy (1983). It’s on YouTube.
Probably threw it on Google search. :^)
Well, if you’re not looking very closely I could see how it’d be easy to miss. It’s also an extremely iconic image of JFK so there’s probably alot of photoshops of it out there.
On the other hand, it’s hardly the first result when you search for this photo online, so I question the odds of a lazy video editor just happening to stumble on this particular version of the picture.
Either the people who made the video failed to notice that it was an altered image, or someone in the White House is a brony.
Either that or they found the wrong photo, eh?
Sneaky bastards!
