Well two things to remember.

It’s during a musical number, as we have seen when one is happening things are going to happen that’s don’t happen outside of the number, so it’s likely done just for show and they don’t and/or cant stand like this normally.
It’s not like they didn’t have moments like that all the way back in season 1.
