Exactly. I love the little guy actually. Not my favourite character, but he has a lot more personality than say Gummy (who only got one episode, and I hate inner monologue) or Tank and honestly he’s helped her more often than he’s hurt her.
I’d say he’s probably my favourite pet, though I use the term pet very loosely as he acts more like a pony than a pet.
Don’t bother. Idiots and hypocrites will always hate him for dumb reasons.
Guess a single slap overshadowed all the good things he did. Angel is a dick. Of course he slapped her. But he also helped Fluttershy with lots of other good things. Here are a few examples:

While Angel does sometimes help out Fluttershy, he’s constantly taking advantage of her codependent nature.
