Most teenagers are jerks, though. I remember high school. Ask pretty much any 20-30 year old and they’ll agree. We were all teenagers once. We know in hindsight we were pretty much all varying degrees of asshole.

Look, I’m just a guy who was trying to discuss The Legend of Korra; nothing more, nothing less. You decided to call me out on something that really wasn’t even that big of a deal, in the first place. Yes, I got defensive, but I was also trying to inform you that I didn’t mean any harm. If that’s not good enough for you, then too bad.

Okay…? Don’t take this the wrong way, but I don’t actually care much about your life story. You’re a random person on the internet. Sorry, but my empathy is typically limited to people I know. Not that I dislike you or anything, just that I thought you were wrong and called you out on it.  
And like I’ve said previously, I know teenagers are capable of being monsters. I never said they aren’t. Only that not all of them are. So, I’m not certain why we’re discussing this still.

As I said before, I had to deal with a lot of bullying, both in AND out of school. Therefore, I know from personal experience, that teens are capable of some doing some horrible things. Do I think ALL teenagers are bad? No, but I do know that people are more prone to making bad decisions when they’re young.
 
This is the main source of Mako’s character flaws, in TLOK.
