I have made a few upload guides that explain how to upload properly from DA, and part 2 covers some of the more common problems I’ve had.

Part 1 is about uploading from deviantart but also contains general uploading info. part 3 is for uploading from tumblr, pixiv, and your hard drive.
 
If you still have problems after reading that stuff, you can also come to the derpibooru IRC channel (info is on the CONTACT link at the bottom of every page) and talk to me or one of the admins : )

If you’re using the URL image grabber then that might be the problem. Have you tried downloading the picture and uploading it manually? I have to do that with DA pictures sometimes : /

Salt Miner.
I keep getting a “maintenance” message, and my stuff’s not getting uploaded.
 
Is it because I’m getting my stuff from Ponibooru?
