True…but only after the fall of the Neo-Babylonian empire. Besides, as Lawful Girly said: the headdress and beard style are Mesopotamian, not Persian/Median, thus this pony could be either Babylonian or Assyrian
Wasn’t the Persian Empire basically one giant melting pot of all of the current and previous cultures of Mesopotamia put together? Might fit if this is more of a “broad-strokes, we aren’t going for complete historical accuracy here” approach.
